First grade is a very important year in your child's education. In first grade, your child will build
his/her reading and writing, learn to add, subtract, tell time, measure, use money, and many more exciting skills. Throughout
the year our classroom will be filled with lots of fun games and activities to build these skills. If you are interested
in any of the games to play at home please let me know!
Events and Announcements
If you are interested in becoming one of the two room parents please contact me as soon as possible.
A room parent is responsible for helping to organize classroom parties and contacting other parents with important information.
The two room parents will be my right hand man.
If you would like to volunteer your time in the classroom please sign up. I am looking for parents
interested in reading to the students between 11:15-11:30 each day. I would also like to have some parents who are willing
to help with center time or listen to students read to them. The more volunteers the better!
Please remember to attend back to school night and sign up to win a classroom prize. We will have
some snacks in the room and you will learn all about the upcoming school year!
